This is aCAPS project, or aging in place. We sometimes find that our clients love their old home - but as they get older, they know that a second floor bedroom will not work for them. We worked with this clientto create this addition to give them a nice sitting room for now, but in the future it can become their bedroom. This addition provides direct access to the backyard and a heat pump for comfort. This space will be great as they age in place! We also constructed a new shed in the backyard to make up for the attached shed we tore down to put on the addition. For peace of mind, we installed a whole house backup generator as part of the project.
